Meet the Psychologists
Warm, evidence-based care for expats in Amsterdam — from therapists who know what it means to build a life across cultures.

Founder & Psychologist NIP
Bibiana Jordan
Schema Therapy · EMDR · CBT · Gottman Method · Sexology
My name is Bibiana Jordan, but everyone calls me Sissi. I'm an NIP-registered therapist from the Netherlands.
I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. I came to Amsterdam to complete my bachelor's and master's in psychology. I have a deep understanding of what it is like to be an expat — the difficulties of starting a life, the challenges, loneliness, and how to overcome them.
I have a strong interest in academia and research, especially in sexual psychology. I partook in a research project at the AMC exploring the anatomical structural differences in the clitoris between pre- and postmenopausal women.
As an MSc clinical psychologist at The Expat Practice by Jordan, I am deeply committed to evidence-based care. I have a genuine passion for psychological research — and will probably end up sharing a few intriguing psychology fun facts during our sessions!
Beyond scientific frameworks, I believe in a holistic approach to mental well-being. Therapy isn't just about cognitive processes; it is deeply connected to your body, habits, and everyday life. In my practice, I focus on integrating these elements into a cohesive path forward.
Depending on your needs, this might mean incorporating somatic exercises to help you reconnect with your physical body, or stepping outside the traditional consulting room for a 'walk and talk' session in Amsterdam — using movement and nature to help navigate the challenges you are facing.
In my clinical work with individuals and couples, I integrate evidence-based techniques from Schema Therapy, EMDR, CBT, the Gottman Method, and sexology — including imagery rescripting, chair work, motivational interviewing, and a healthy touch of humor. After all, perspective and warmth are often the best medicine.

Psychologist NIP
Noémi Libel
Client-centered · CBT · Schema Therapy
My name is Noémi. I'm trained in clinical psychology in the Netherlands.
I understand what it's like to belong to more than one place at once. I've lived across three countries myself, and I work specifically with people navigating that same disorientation, expats rebuilding a sense of home, and anyone preparing for or making sense of a profound psychedelic experience.
I also work with the things that often come tangled up in that transition: anxiety, ADHD, relationship and identity questions, grief. My approach starts with you, client-centered at its core. I draw on CBT and Schema Therapy alongside that, always shaped around where you actually are and what you need, at your own pace.
I believe real change happens when you feel truly met, not just managed or fixed.
Whatever brings you here, it belongs in this space, exactly as it is. I'd be glad to meet you and see if we're a good fit.

Specialities:
ADHD
Understanding how your mind actually works changes more than trying to force it into a shape it was never built for. We'll figure out what genuinely works for you, not what you've been told should.
Relationships & Identity
Staying or leaving, opening up or closing down, figuring out who you are and who you love. These questions rarely come with clean answers. We'll sit with the complexity together, at whatever pace feels right.
Psychedelic Preparation & Integration
Before an experience in an altered state of mind, we build a steady foundation. Afterward, we make sense of what came up, so it becomes something you carry forward, not something left unprocessed.
